ALL special services, including lift gate, will be billed to the customer. This includes inside delivery, sort and segregate, detention, redelivery, or anything other than receiving the shipment from the rear of the carrier’s trailer.
Customer is solely responsible for verifying condition, accuracy, and count of items at time of delivery in the presence of carrier. Left Coast Wholesale cannot accept claims for damage, errors, or shortages without documented proof. Claims may be denied if damage, error, or shortage is not noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery. Customer is responsible for noting at time of delivery which pallets or items have been received and which are missing, incorrect, or damaged. Claims for concealed or internal damage, errors, or shortages that are not identified at time of delivery must be submitted to Left Coast Wholesale within 24 hours of receipt and are subject to review with no guarantee of approval. RMA and Return Policy
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2020
Damaged Items/ Incorrect Shipment/ Shortages:
Submit required documents along with LCW Return Material Authorization Form to firstname.lastname@example.org. Left Coast Wholesale (LCW) will start a claim with the carrier, provide a return label, or send the missing items as soon as all completed information has been provided to us.
Damaged items should be refused upon receipt and returned to Left Coast Wholesale.
Left Coast Wholesale cannot offer refunds or replacements for items that are damaged during transit that were ordered out of case quantity.
If the item is received before the damage is detected, record the damage on the delivery receipt. If the freight is damaged, make a notation on the delivery receipt that accurately describes the damage with photo documentation. Failure to note damage at the time of the delivery may result in a loss of recourse against the delivery company and will not be covered by Left Coast Wholesale.
- Five pictures detailing the damage and written description of the damage.
- Tracking Number for damaged package.
- Contact phone number and email address. Customers may or may not be contacted by the carrier for further information.
- Delivery Receipt for freight delivery
- Order Number
Retain the damaged item including packaging until the claim is complete or as advised by Left Coast Wholesale.
If your shipment does not match your invoice, make a notation on the delivery receipt for items received as well as items missing. Failure to note mistakes at the time of delivery will not be covered by Left Coast Wholesale.
- Incorrect Shipment: Submit Delivery Receipt and Corrected Invoice along with the weight and dimensions of the return package.
- Missing Items: Submit Delivery Receipt and Corrected Invoice.
Genesis Bulb Guarantee:
Genesis bulbs purchased through Left Coast Wholesale are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship if they are operated on ballasts and luminaries that meet all applicable specifications. This warranty extends for the period of one year after the date of sale from Left Coast Wholesale or, if unknown, 1 year after the date of manufacture. RMA of the product will not be accepted after the 1 year period stated above. Left Coast Wholesale will cover damages that occur during shipping in case quantity only if claims for damage are noted on the delivery receipt. Follow guidelines for Damaged Items as stated above.
Customer Initiated Returns:
Left Coast Wholesale (LCW) accepts customer initiated returns within 1 year of the purchase date as long as:
- Product is unused and in its original packaging; and
- Product is not discontinued, damaged, expired, or unable to be restocked/resold.
LCW will assess each item upon receipt and reserves the right to refuse any returned product that does not meet these guidelines.
Returns will not be accepted on the following items:
- TNB Naturals
- Custom-Cut Greenhouse Poly
- Royal Gold Soil
A minimum 10% restocking fee will be applied to these returns. Refunds will be given in the form of a credit memo.
To initiate a return, complete the LCW Return Material Authorization Form and email to email@example.com for approval. Upon approval, include a copy of the RMA Form in your package. Use appropriate packaging to ship the items safely back to LCW. Any items not packaged correctly and/or damaged on the return trip will not be accepted. The customer is responsible for all shipping fees on returns.

Once every six months – on the last business day of March and September – we perform an Account Tally from a rolling 12-month period of the cumulative account purchases you’ve made with Left Coast Wholesale. Purchase totals are based on post-discount prices and do not include shipping and fees.
Based on your Cumulative Account Purchases, you may qualify for one of eight Discount Tiers. Your Ongoing Discount Reward gives you a percentage discount on eligible items and is applied to all qualified orders until your next semiannual account tally.
